Etiquette & Behavior

Danceline LA enforces a mandatory dress code for each age division.  We feel strongly that this will promote

discipline and proper classroom etiquette.  All hair must be pulled back away from the face.

No jewelry is permitted.  Midriffs are Unacceptable.  Booty shorts are unacceptable WITHOUT tights underneath.

Please NO School clothes.  Any student not in dress code will be asked to observe the class.

THE DRESS CODE IS MANDATORY!

No student should enter class with food, drink, or gum.

Students should preferably arrive 10 minutes prior to class.  Being early enables students to warm-up properly.

All students are expected to dress in an appropriate manner.  Please try to arrive in the appropriate clothing for your class.  If needed,  the dancer can change before class begins in the restroom.

There is NO TALKING during warm-up.  All of your focus should be on improving your technique and flexibility.

There is NO unnecessary talking, interruption of the instructor, and/or disruptive behavior.  A student may be asked to sit down for a few moments and watch class.  If the behavior continues, the student may be taken out of the classroom to sit with a parent or front desk staff until they are ready to return to class with appropriate behavior.

We strongly encourage our students to:
*Come to class with a positive attitude.

*Listen with an open mind when an instructor is giving correction to another student or to yourself.

*Keep trying even when it isn't easy.
*Work hard so that you can achieve your goals.

In order to provide the best possible experience, the following behavior will not be allowed:
*Disrespectful behavior towards the instructor or anyone else.
*Disruptive behavior including excessive talking rough-housing, running, or horseplay.
    *Destruction of property.
